The fine print.
The terms that apply when you use our website and services.
Last updated: September 22, 2026
These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Those Guys Drywall in Abbotsford, British Columbia. By using the site, you agree to them. If you hire us, the details of your job are set out in your written estimate or quote, which takes priority over anything on this website.
Website Information
The information on this website is a general overview of our drywall, texture, painting, renovation and restoration services. It isn't a quote or a guarantee that a particular service is right for your project — every job is different, and we'll confirm what's involved when we see it.
Some images on this website are illustrations used to show the kind of work we do, and may not show actual Those Guys Drywall projects.
Estimates and Quotes
- Estimates are free and there's no obligation to hire us.
- Your estimate is based on what we can see and what you tell us. Pricing, scope and timelines are confirmed in writing before work starts, and a quote is valid for the period stated on it.
- Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in your quote or invoice.
Hidden Conditions
Walls and ceilings can hide problems we can't see until they're opened up, such as water damage, mould, rot, or wiring and plumbing issues. If we find something that changes the scope of the job, we'll stop, show you, and agree on any changes and costs with you before continuing.
Older Homes and Asbestos
In BC, drywall mud, textured walls and popcorn ceilings in homes built before 1990 may contain asbestos. As required by WorkSafeBC, these materials must be tested before they're disturbed. If testing is needed, we'll let you know before work begins, and any abatement must be completed by a qualified contractor.
Texture and Colour Matching
We work hard to blend repairs into your existing walls and ceilings. Because of differences in age, lighting, sun fading and original materials, an exact match can't always be guaranteed, and we'll talk through options with you if a perfect match isn't possible.
Scheduling and Cancellations
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as possible. Any deposit or cancellation terms will be stated in your quote. Weather, material delays or other trades can occasionally affect timelines — we'll keep you updated if anything changes.
Insurance and Restoration Work
For insurance claims, we can work with your adjuster and restoration company. Your coverage, deductible and what your insurer approves are between you and your insurance company, and you remain responsible for any costs your insurer doesn't cover.
Workmanship
We stand behind our work. Any warranty on your project will be described in your quote or invoice. If something isn't right, contact us and we'll come back and make it right.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Those Guys Drywall isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its general information. Liability for work we perform is governed by your written quote and applicable BC law. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under British Columbia consumer protection law.
Website Content
The Those Guys Drywall name, logo, illustrations and website content belong to us and can't be copied or reused without our written permission. Links to other websites, such as Facebook or Google, are provided for convenience and we aren't responsible for their content.
Privacy
How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date it was last updated.
