We only collect what we need to quote, schedule and complete your project:

• Contact details — your name, phone number and email address when you call, text or email us.
• Project details — the job site address, a description of the work, and any photos or videos you send us of the area.
• Billing records — estimates, invoices and payment records for work we complete.
• Insurance claim details — for restoration work, information such as your claim number and adjuster's contact, if you choose to share it.

We don't have online accounts or forms on this website, and we never ask for payment card numbers by email or text.

• To invoice you and keep the business and tax records we're required to keep
• To coordinate with your insurance company, adjuster, property manager or general contractor when you ask us to

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.

We take photos on the job to document our work and any existing damage. We will only post photos of your project on our website or social media with your permission, and we never show your address or anything that identifies you or your home.

We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it when it's needed to do your job or run the business:

• With your insurer, adjuster, property manager or contractor, at your request
• With trades or suppliers working on your project, limited to what they need
• With our accountant and professional advisors
• When required by law

This website doesn't use contact forms, logins or advertising trackers. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. This uses cookies and collects information like your browser type and general location. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or opt out using Google's opt-out tool.

Our website host automatically keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. Links to Facebook, Google or other sites are covered by those companies' own privacy policies.

We use trusted service providers for email and website hosting, including Google (Gmail). Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

We keep project and billing records for at least six years, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. Enquiries that don't turn into a project are deleted within two years. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or destroy it.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including password-protected devices and accounts, and this website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No system is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information like banking details by email or text.

Under PIPA, you can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you and how it's been used
• Ask us to correct information that's wrong
• Withdraw your consent to how we use your information, subject to legal or contract requirements
